I don’t like to be hundreds of miles and plane rides away from my family, so if I choose to speak at an event, it has to be worth the time away.
I have only a few long-distance events on my calendar this year, and two of them are at Sally Clarkson’s Mom Heart conferences. Many of you know that Sally is not just my co-author for Desperate, she is my mentor, friend, advocate, and adopted mama. Her wisdom and her words have changed me. She has taught me that a wise woman is not passive but active in owning her life; a wise woman walks by faith not formulas, creates beauty, takes responsibility for her soul’s need for joy and delight, and takes seriously her role as a cultivator of eternal souls.
Sally is a Titus 2 woman, and she is a gift to me, and a gift to many.
