Maid Service for YOU. Amen. (Having a Martha Home the Mary Way Launch Week) - Sarah Mae
Hi, I'm Sarah.
Join me in keeping on and beginning again!

Maid Service for YOU. Amen. (Having a Martha Home the Mary Way Launch Week)

I’m a simple girl. I don’t ask for much.

All I really want is to be able to hire someone to come over and clean my house every now and then. You know, wash the floors and such. Scrub the caked on food off my dining room table. Sidenote: One of the neighbor kids was at my house recently and said, “Miss Sarah, how come I never see you clean?” Precious boy. I said, “We all have our strengths and weakness, don’t we?” 🙂

Now I know I’m not the only who could use some house-cleaning help. I bet some of you out there would LOVE to have someone come over and clean your house. No shame. That Proverbs 31 woman wasn’t Proverbing without some help, know what I mean? SERVANTS. She had them. I think we would all be a little more P31 if we had some help. Can I get an AMEN?!

With that said, I want to help you get some help. How about this: 6 MONTHS OF FREE HOUSE-CLEANING courtesy of Tyndale in honor of my new book Having a Martha Home the Mary Way: 31 Days to a Clean House and a Satisfied Soul, ON SALE NOW! Head HERE to read all about it!

Free house-cleaning?! YAAAAAS!!!!

Maid service PLUS my new book = WINNING!

Here’s the deal: I could only secure ONE 6-months of cleaning gift, so that means only one of you can win. I KNOW! If I were independently wealthy, ALL OF YOU who needed the help would be getting maid service gift cards from me. I would have maid service. Also, every new mom that I met would get maid service until her children were 10. But alas, I’m just a sweet little author with a kind publisher who is willing to give you all this STUPENDOUS gift. Thank you Tyndale! We love you!

This could be the answer to my prayers! Lord please send someone to take care of this mess before I light a match.

  • Joey

I always tell my husband my dream is to have someone come and just do the hard stuff … Like the files kitchen floors for the love!!!

  • Heather

Yeah laundry is my archnemesis.. And the dishes.. And my bedroom… Ok maybe all of it!

  • Jodie

I think in the history of blog giveaways, I’ve never wanted to win one more than this one, ha!

  • Cat Wise

Ugh, even just putting everything away seems never ending!!! After that, the hardest part of cleaning is the floors. Who has time to sweep it clean enough to mop AND then mop it before it gets dirty again?!

  • Amber

YES PLEASE!! How awesome, Tyndale & Sarah Mae what a fabulous offer! I think all ladies would agree this is an AMAZING giveaway. Thanks for your generosity and a chance to win!

  • Jennifer D.

I struggle with all of it. But mostly the real cleaning part of it.

  • ANH2Cor134

The areas I struggle with keeping up the most are cleaning the wood floors and the bathrooms! Everything also hasn’t been deep cleaned for a while either… It’s hard to keep up with 3 under 5!

  • Danni Smith

Anything that involves actual chemicals and elbow grease … Two (misleading) words: morning sickness.

  • Ruth Chowdhury

The hardest part of my home to keep clean/keep up with is the laundry, or it may tie with dishes.

  • Rachel Rusticus

    I hate cleaning tubs/showers. Gross & hard & I don’t want to….last chore always done!

  • E S

Love this! Hardest to keep clean are my bathrooms, definitely.

  • Vicki_L_Hale

I struggle with paper clutter and the bathtub. My bathtub has a kind of sealant over it, so I can’t use any kind of abrasive cleansers – it’s scrubbing bubbles or nothing. It’s actually harder to keep clean with the sealant on than it was before I had it sealed.

  • Katie

I have the most trouble with the bathrooms and the kitchen floor! I don’t know why, but those are the most tedious and grossest jobs to me!

  • melodie

I used to be somewhat on top of the house cleaning. Until child #3 came along which was right around the same time we started our journey in homeschooling. Now im pathetic.
I shared this post with my friend Lauren, who has a new baby and a little one.

  • BobbeyM

Hardest area for me is the kitchen. We don’t have a dishwasher and I feel like we are always doing dishes.

  • Kimberly Teller

the kitchen bar/peninsula – you know, the convenient spot to put something down?

  • Alicia

I’m struggling with all housework at the moment! I spent 8 months in 2014 in another state caring for my mil, then 2015 was filled with my own health struggles and ended up with 3 diagnosis (including Hashimotos which wipes my energy out) and a hysterectomy in Nov. I started working as a sub last Jan and work nearly everyday. My house has severally suffered as I’m trying to find the energy to do it all

  • Helen Gentz

I so struggle to keep my own bedroom organized and “off limits” when it comes to other people’s clutter, toys, papers, etc.

  • Brenda Veinotte

Bathrooms and floors are the hardest parts for me as well as all the clutter. I need help.

  • Tricia

I struggle with keeping everything picked up, let alone actually clean!

  • Lena Malliett Ross

I could do use help cleaning. I haven’t been able to do as much since I inflamed my rotater cuff 3 years ago.

  • lori dunham

I struggle most with keeping my kitchen clean and if my kitchen isn’t clean, I can’t get to the rest of the house.

  • Carla K

I struggle keeping up with it all. Whenever I feel caught up in one area of the house, another is suffering! The office is probably the most difficult right now where the paper work, school work and toys are unending!

  • Anna

The kitchen! Feeding at least 6 people every day wrecks it continually.

  • Crystal E

Hardest area for me would be the floors. Not a big fan of sweeping, mopping or vacuuming.

  • lolaleen

I have the most trouble with the kitchen!

  • Lauren Neaves

Me, me!! REALLY struggling with balancing the daily grind of maintaining a clean/tidy home and being a wife and mama with my tornado of a 3 1/2 year old and a 5 month old. HELP!

  • lisa

Thank you!! What a fun opportunity for such a generous gift!!!

  • Brandi

Hardest area would be the floors…dog hair, crumbs, dirt. It’s bad!

  • jewelsntreasures

By far my basement is my biggest struggle to keep up with!

  • Carrie

    Kitchen floor!!!

  • Megan

I really struggle with keeping my room clean. It’s the room I throw everything in when people are coming over.

  • Amanda Neubert

Book sounds great! I’m currently reading Desperate and it is just what I’m need. I feel like I can never pick up everything off my floor.

  • Erin Jesse Owens

    The kitchen…the playroom…umm…all of it!

  • Mandy

    Amazing giveaway!!!

  • Juliette Sasek

Currently the room I have the most trouble with is the bedroom. Also the floors throughout the house.

  • Melissa Lynch

All of it! Especially the main areas (kitchen, living room, kitchen, bathrooms, kitchen)

  • Leah Heffner

    Laundry. Yuck

  • Candace Leach

With 3 kids, 2 under 3 and another one one the way as well as working from home part time, it’s a challenge to keep up on the housework. The hardest area to keep clean would probably be the playroom/office. This would be a blessing. Thank you for the opportunity to win.

  • Jennifer

I have the most trouble with bedrooms.

  • Sara

    This is awesome!

  • Shannon

I need this giveaway!!! So many kids. So little time.

  • Staci

Any flat surface that collects papers is my biggest hurdle with keeping a clean home!

  • Melissa sangster

Definitely the bathrooms :-/ too many messy boys

  • Katie Ellefsen

I would love to win this! Such a great giveaway!

  • Heidi

Ugh, this house–it was dirty when we moved in 9 mos ago and I’ve never really been able to get on top of the cleaning here. The carpets need to be steam cleaned and all the walls need a fresh coat of paint, but in addition to not being allowed to paint (b/c it’s a rental), who has the time? I homeschool and am pregnant with my fourth!

  • Sarah Centeno

    Oh, my house needs this!

  • Jennifer Grasso

I’d say the kids bedrooms. They seem to get out of control so easily!

  • Michele

I have the most trouble with my kitchen…for some reason the little people in my house want to be fed 3 times (or more) a day 😉 haha

  • carrie crowl

Definitely my son’s room (2 of them share a room). I work on it with them and then turn around and it’s a mess again.

  • Jen Wayne

I have the same peeling cabinets! Kitchen chores, laundry and homeschooling FILL my days. I have 12 kids – twelve and under!

  • Leslie

    Definitely laundry!!

  • jodi

I have the most trouble with the clutter that the kids drag around the house.

  • Courtney

Does my car count? Seriously though, probably the kitchen table. It gets cluttered and covered in food on a regular basis

  • Amy

    Oh this would be awesome!

  • Holly Billings

    Everything. All the time!

  • Whitney C

The Master Bedroom. I’m pretty good at keeping the downstairs picked up but our bedroom becomes the catch all room.

  • Lesa Brackbill

My whole house needs extra attention…or any attention, really.

  • Hillary

Our bedroom! I feel awful that I’m so terrible at keeping my clothes off the floor and clean laundry put away…lots of women complain about having husbands who don’t pick up after themselves but in our marriage, I’m the messy one!! My desk is also in our room and it often becomes the catch all for me! Would love to make our room more of a sanctuary, but can’t seem to stay on top of things for more than a day! 😉

  • Clarissa

The kitchen is the worst for me!

  • Betty

I would love help! i think deep cleaning the showers and floors are the hardest thing for me to get to. Thanks for the giveaway!

  • Heidi Botkin

My kitchen floor. And the windows. And possibly the shower. 🙂

  • erica821

Paper clutter is what I struggle with the most…it’s everywhere

  • Beth

Hmm. The bedrooms. We spend a lot of tie downstairs so upstairs gets ignored a lot. Plus, I mean, laundry.

  • Jennifer White

The kitchen and bedrooms…they are a never ending struggle with 5 kids in toe…2 of which are infant twins. SIGH

  • Heather Lund

Oh my, not sure where to start. Living in a small 3 bedroom house with baby #5 coming soon…..trying so hard to stay organized, much less clean!

  • Kelly Orozco

The laundry and the kitchen are my worst areas….never ending!!!

  • Amy Wallenwine

Definitely the kitchen and bedroom… Our bedroom becomes a catch all and the kitchen is unending!!

  • Sheryl

The laundry and mopping the floors

  • Jennifer

Would love help for 6 months!

  • Jessica Jensen

Just one area? Hmm… hard to choose. I would say mopping floors. It probably does not help that I tend to hurt my back every time! Does basement stuff accumulations count? Because that is definitely an issue!

  • Jennifer Bingham

I find that my worst area is countertops- clutter collects and collects and collects….

  • Misty

I have struggled with this my whole life!!! I would so love some help. Laundry and keeping my kitchen clean would be a God-send!

  • Miranda

The bathrooms are the toughest for me…especially the BOYS!

  • Rebecca

Thank you so much for offering such an amazing giveaway!!! My bedroom!!! Because I can always throw stuff in there and lock the door when people come over, but it never fully recovers.

  • Amie

Keeping up with the daily pick ups and kitchen cleaning.

  • Amber Kemp

Oh the laundry…it’s never ending piles that I cannot seem to compete with. *sigh* I have a dream that one day, my hampers will be empty!

  • Rhonda Siem

The office/classroom. So much happening and changing, coming and going! It’s hard to keep up with the paper clutter in here!

  • Mandi

I struggle in the kitchen and my bedroom. The kitchen is never ending, so why bother and no-one but my husband and I see our bedroom.

  • Carisa Zglobicki

    The entire house…. 🙁

  • nicole

The kitchen/dinette, which also serves as a mud room :/

  • Kristin Ownby

    Floors-sweeping, mopping-ugh!

  • Lori Wilson

Bathrooms and baseboards. I just can’t deal with the dust that gets on them.

  • Larisa c

    That would be AWESOME!!!

  • Lisa

    Kitchen and bathroom

  • Krichelle Nelson

The laundry and kitchen are my struggles ❤️ This would be so amazing!

  • Domoina

Great challenge, but after reading this book, God is honored, my hand-washing for laundry did not change, neither my kitchen but my attitude has been changed, I am still in the way. Thank you Sarah. 31 days with guidance and many questions to lead your devotions, it is a must read book for anyone who wants to grow.

  • Billie Jo Courtright

I have the hardest time with the kitchen! We don’t have a dish washer and things pile up so quickly it’s so discouraging!!! I
can’t wait to read this book I need the encouragement!!

  • Jaime Kirkland

Laundry!!! Ugg, I hate it lol!!

  • Women Abiding

I’d say my kitchen. It’s a never ending job, and keeping up with it on a daily basis (as well as the rest of the house) keeps me so busy… so cleaning inside the cupboards, fridge, drawers, cleaning the oven, etc. are activities are don’t do often enough… Thanks so much for this AMAZING opportunity!!! <3

  • Amy

Dishes…I rarely get all of the dishes done…

  • Melissa

My Laundry/mud room. It is the entry and drop off point for us and everyone seems to drop all sorts of items in it.

  • mjeaustin

Mopping is on chore I don’t do as often as I should because I know someone will spill or drop or track in stuff as soon as I’m done.

  • Joy Fontanez

Mopping the floors. It is something that just doesn’t end up happening as often as it should.

  • Bev @ Walking Well With God

    Sarah Mae,
I can’t stand showers and tubs…I can’t kneel after two knee surgeries and it’s not very lady like squatting to clean showers and tubs lol. All the best with you book…

  • Wendy Garner

My kitchen–oh the dishes and clutter! 🙂

  • BreAnne

Dishes/ kitchen area…. I’d rather clean the bathroom. But, co-owning a business and having three kids, some weeks the entire house gets neglected. :/

  • Liz

    Shower and mopping!

  • April

Laundry and kitchen are the worst areas for me. But my bedroom and bathroom often get neglected because I spend most of my cleaning time in the living areas!

  • Amy

I struggle with the kids rooms. They get cleaned and then 5min later they are a mess again!

  • rebecca

My least favorite chores are dusting and cleaning the bathroom!

  • MomsBandB

    Bathroom and kitchen.

  • MinneMama

For me it’s my own bedroom. With everything else to clean , it gets totally neglected.

  • Bethany Brown

Showers and tubs are my biggest challenge!

  • Michele

    It’s the whole house, really.

  • Marci

Keeping the kitchen clean is nearly impossible!

  • Julie johnson

Worst is the Kitchen. For laundry I listen to a good sermon from audio sermon or watch a netflix show as I spot clean, or fold. 🙂

  • Dianne Hamilton Andrews

    Dusting. Yuck.

  • Naomi Jones

I have the most trouble keeping up with dust bunnies!

  • Amy

  • Heather Gerwing

I SO need this! Homescooling Mama of 4!

  • Rachel Erin

The bathroom definitely!!!! Oh and toys!! Yikes!

  • Christan Perona

Oh, I struggle with the bathrooms. I love to cook, so I’m in the kitchen a lot. I clean while things are in the oven, etc so it never gets out of control. But the bathrooms… I struggle so, so much with motivation.

  • Amy Eckel

My whole house is a wreck. But the most visibly messy area is the homeschool area in our dining room.
Thanks for the chance to win some help from a maid!

  • Jessica Reno

Oh how I could use this.

  • Richele Baburina

Being the only female in the house means bathrooms are the worst.

  • Tracey

I have the most trouble keeping up with a regular laundry schedule. It always seems to be seasonal clothes-change-out time and that task completely overwhelms me. Sigh. Yep, laundry.

  • Selena

This kitchen and bathroom…it’s a vicious cycle!!!

  • Lauren

Love this post! And the giveaway is amazing! The whole house needs a good deep cleaning, especially before baby #2 arrives this summer!
Thank you for your honest post and wisdom! Good luck everyone! ☺

  • Laura

What an amazing giveaway! I confess, I once had it all together…then I had kids. I’ve been catching up for closer to two decades than I’d care to admit. I’m a non-discriminatory messy. I don’t have a system for doing ANYTHING. It’s by the grace of God I haven’t been found out yet. 😉

  • Deb Pontipsavat

With six children, the youngest being five months old, and homeschooling, the hardest areas for me to keep up on are laundry and vacuuming/mopping. I get the laundry washed but it’s so hard to get it all folded and put away.

  • Jessica Johnson

I have the most trouble keeping up with the office and paper clutter. I have a 4 yr old and a 1 yr old as well as 2 dogs. I am also in grad school, and do a ton of other stuff. My husband always says that I have like 4 full time jobs, just none of them pay. Lol. So, honestly, I struggle with keeping up with all of my home right now.

  • Megan Greenwood

Cleaning floors (carpet, tile, hard wood) is the worst!

  • twyls

The kitchen, definitely the kitchen! Thanks for the great giveaway!

  • CW

I have trouble with clutter corners (or closets). It’s so easy to overlook that pile of odds and ends..

  • Bethany Glosser

The kitchen. Because how can I clean it if I’m always using it? It makes no sense!

  • HClough

I would LOVE to win this! The past 8 months I have been undergoing cancer treatments and I have 3 young kids. This would help me tremendously! Thank you for your generosity!

  • Emily Walters

I have such a tough time keeping my bathrooms clean…especially with my house full of boys!

  • Christina

  • Heather Jo Adams Vincent

    My bathroom-ugh…say no more

  • Jamie Lath

I just hate cleaning bathrooms. I think it’s because there are just so many surfaces that have to be scrubbed.

  • Raquel

Ah, cleaning for me is like the never ending game of whack-a-mole. I know part of it is a hearttitude, but man life is rough sometimes!

  • Jessica K

Truthfully…everywhere right now!!! I’m terrible at time management!! I’m also a single mom working full time, going to school full time, and trying to keep up with chores, errands, bills AND make quality time with my 3 year old!!

  • Darcy Wiley

I have the most trouble with…everything! If I dare work on a creative project, I come back to find multiple areas of the house in total chaos. The dishes are a never ending battle. And bathrooms. Ugh. It is overwhelming. Excited for inspiration from your book.

  • Jen Heemskerk

Oh I wish this was also open to your Canadian readers! I love your books, and would love to be apart of the give-aways. Just to join in on the fun, I loathe cleaning the bath tub! Just thinking about it gives me the heebies! LOL

  • Rachel

We are ranchers, so out mud room/back door is always epic cleaning; and then the kitchen of course!!

  • nswimchic77

  • Debbie Wenger

I am horrible with dusting and mopping. Things look clean here but if you get into the nitty gritty they’re not at all.

  • Bobbi

Our bedroom, no one sees it, and the kitchen.

  • Danielle

I can’t pick one area that is hard to keep up with! But probably the upstairs where all the laundry lives! Sarah, the Lord sent you to me!!

  • Erin

I have the most trouble with clutter throughout my house. I have “piles” as my husband calls them – things that need to be gone through/put away, but I have trouble getting around to it. And laundry, dishes, ugh!!!

  • Crystal Stephenson Malenofski

I can’t handle bathrooms or picking up toys!! It’s not stop!

  • Mary Troyer

my house all of it lol well especially my kitchen!

  • FarmSchoolMarm

Just yesterday I came across my notes from the Kindle version the first time – last year. I decided I wanted a hard copy for myself and one for my daughter. I was so tickled to see it was being re-released. How fun!!

  • KristenW

The kitchen is the most noticeable, but the bathrooms rarely get the attention they need!

  • Bambi

The laundry and the kitchen for sure. I cook from scratch with 6 littles… OY!

  • tristarr3

    The bathrooms! Ugh.

  • Beth B.

Sweeping and mopping! With three kids 6 and under there are endless crumbs in the kitchen that get tracked all over the house. I should get a dog 😉

The kitchen, the tub, the floors…

  • Lisa Flowers

    It’s a toss up… Laundry, kitchen, bathrooms… It’s never-ending!

  • Alysha Tarr

Oh the laundry!! 3 kids and a construction working husband! It never ends!

  • Italian Mama Chef

The laundry and bathroom. I hate the bathroom.

  • Jennifer Renee Dixon

I struggle to keep up with the laundry and the dishes. But also organizing in general in our small 2 bedroom house is a struggle for me. With baby number 3 due in June this giveaway would be a huge blessing!
    Thanks Sarah!

  • Erin Ellis

I have trouble keeping up with cleaning the showers.

  • Cindy Giron

The room I have the hardest time cleaning and keeping clean is the bathrooms.

  • Mindy May

The laundry!!! I cannot keep up!

  • Lisa Sasseen

Thank you for being so real!
I struggle with our room :/
But I love to do laundry 🙂

  • Amanda Chambers

The parts of my home that I have trouble keeping up with are the parts inside the doors. And maybe a little of the parts outside the doors, but I’m not as worried about those. 😉 Thanks for the chance to win!

  • Amy Netzel

    Kitchen and bathrooms.

  • Keri Lyn

Housework has always been a challenge for me. Now days, my sewing studio is the most difficult place to keep organized.

  • rjj71483

Mine biggest challenge is the two bedrooms that the kids have moved out of. We use it as a drop-off point for everything and them it gets out of control!!

  • Diane Kratz

My office is a cesspool of papers! But honestly, the entire house is hard.

  • Callie R.

The kitchen is my problem area!

  • Courtney

    The dishes/kitchen for sure!!

  • kelly stoutenborough

man..the WHOLE house…,from kitchen to bathrooms(3 GIRL teenagers) to THEIR rooms… having a dog and 3 cats who also live here…mad house I tell ya…

  • Renae Riche

Thanks for the chance to win! Its hard to choose just 1. Id say the random clutter or dishes!

  • Jenn Wells

My son’s bedroom, we recently moved a young girl in with us and one of my son’s had to give up his bedroom and share with another. I can’t seem to get a hold on the mess up in that loft.

  • Janette McLaughlin

I can’t wait! Sarah, your book with Sally Clarkson, Desperate, was my companion through the little years (when my toddler was screaming through “nap time” and wiping a poopy diaper all over her crib), and I feel you’re a friend who relates. What better way to tackle the heart and the home than with a friend by your side. Looking forward to reading your book!

  • Olivia Adair

I struggle most to keep the kitchen clean- or the room my boys share (teaching them to keep it clean!)

  • Liesl

I have the hardest time keeping up with floors! And bathrooms (because really, who wants to clean bathrooms?). This is an amazing giveaway!!

  • Jenni

Keeping stuff picked up! I’m a piler :/

  • Mandy

Laundry, papers, and floors, oh my!

  • Amanda

Our bedroom! Where I throw all the random crap in piles!

  • Shelbey

Oh the whole dang house. The kitchen gets the worst probably.

  • Amy Cooper

Horizontal surfaces! Things pile up so fast

  • kristinemcguire

Laundry and kitchen for sure. It is not even that I have a huge space to clean or a lot of laundry. Life gets busy and that is what gets pushed to the side.

  • Julia

Kitchen, of course! And my daughter’s closet full of dress up clothes. 🙂

  • Laura Daniels Neiswonger

Oh the laundry and kitchen…how i loathe MY kids have a great niche for distracting me or undoing everything I get done in 10 minutes!

  • Joy

    The floors.

  • Paige Y.

    Folding laundry and cleaning bathrooms!!!

  • Stephanie Stoll

My worst area: ALL OF IT! No joke. Bathrooms, kitchen, living room, school/computer room (where we homeschool), playroom, bedrooms. It’s ALL a mess. The struggle is real.

  • Teresa

Oh my! The bathrooms!! I just hate cleaning showers!!

  • Tina Johnson

Folding laundry is my Achilles heel! I don’t mind cleaning the kitchen, if it’s already mostly clean. Oh, who am I kidding? I try to KEEP it clean as I go, but when the sweet hubby cooks, Lawd have mercy!

  • Shawna Westenbarger

    Laundry!!! Kicks my butt…

  • savanahHUTCHINSON

Laundry and toys.. homeschooling household. I feel a tug between choosing to clean and getting school work done. The clothes and toys of a household of 10 is hard to keep up with.

  • Tina Howard

My own bedroom — it can always wait and it also becomes the stacking place.

  • Amy

I have the hardest time keeping my bathrooms clean and my office/ craft room organized.

  • Nicole

    My bathroom is the worst!

  • Beth

I can’t keep up with my kitchen floor!

  • Courtney

Laundry is the thing that piles up fastest! Next thing is dishes, but we just got a dishwasher so that should help! Thanks for this giveaway contest!

  • Katie Redfern

6 months of cleaning? Yes, please!

  • Molly Bronson

    The kitchen always stays cluttered!

  • Lindsay

Hmmm…managing the house as a complete whole is difficult for me. I seem to do well on a particular area of daily focus (laundry, dishes, toy clean-up, etc.), but then the other areas suffer. If I had to pick the most troubled task it would be the “cleaning of my home”….sweeping, mopping, toilets, showers, etc.

  • Elizabeth Velderman

This would be wonderful! Cannot keep my kitchen clean.

  • Darcey

The whole house, but the kitchen and my bedroom are the worst. My bedroom becomes our dump zone.

  • Lisa Warren

Our main living areas need the most help. We have 5 children, 9, 9, 5, 2, and 2 and are a current foster family. We have case workers, therapists and others that come into our home a few times a week and it is hard to keep up.

  • Stephanie S

Definitely laundry and dishes because they NEVER end!

  • Kristina Slaney

I struggle with the things that need deep-cleaning. And also the kids’ rooms. I do great with the kitchen, keep up with the laundry, and for the first time in my life I have a bathroom cleaning routine. But I don’t know what non-weekly stuff I should be doing. And also, ALL THE TOYS.

  • Melanie Beckman

Ugh…the bathrooms! Little boys…little boys…toothpaste e’rywhere…and why oh why can’t they seem to pee IN the toilet? That’s if they even pee in the house and not the yard. We live in the country…don’t judge. 😉

  • Ashly Noelle

LAUNDRY. oh boy. i can do the dishes no problem (usually while the hubby puts the kids down) but laundry kills me! And we recently moved and had issues with not one but 5 dryers (so weird) and so we are like a month behind on laundry. still.

  • Allison Sayre Singleton

My bathroom. It stays hidden, so I neglect it the most.

  • Robyn

Laundry and the kitchen are the areas I just can’t seem to get a handle on.

  • Kristina

What a blessing to whoever wins!

  • Heidi Smith

Oh, boy. With a house full of children and pets, it seems like everything is never ending! There are 6 males in my house so keeping the toilet and area around it clean is a daily struggle!

  • Tiffany

    The laundry! It’s never ending!

  • Katie

Laundry and kitchen are my biggest besides clutter in general

  • Mary Lee Sonke

Our family has had a tough year with a house flood, holes in our home’s foundation, and back surgery for my husband. But God is faithful and we are treasuring this time of rest. I need to get back into a cleaning routine. I’ll be checking back to your blog! 🙂

  • blessedw6mom

Gotta say Kitchen … 8 people’s things always seem to clutter up counters and table space

  • Elizabeth Giger

The clutter. For serious. The Clutter!!

    • RM Peters

  • MiFiNoVi

The family room and kids’ rooms are the roughest for me to keep up with!

  • Amber Lo

I would LOVE to win 6 months of cleaning! I’m due with a baby in less than three months and hitting that big and uncomfortable season. Not having to do the down and dirty cleaning at the end of this pregnancy and during the newborn phase would be a HUGE blessing!!! 🙂

    • Amber Lo

Oh, and it’s the deep cleaning I always feel behind on. Bathrooms and floors and dusting!

  • Karyn Cummer

All of it. It’s just too much. Thankfully hubby doesn’t mind of the house gets a bit cluttered:)

  • Shelly Smith

    Clutter (especially in the kitchen!)

  • Becky

The hardest part of the house for me to keep up on are the bathrooms. Deep cleaning them is such a big chore. I dread it.
Thank you for a great giveaway. I’m already dreaming.

  • Christie K

    Oh, Sweet Sarah!
I haven’t logged into Facebook for weeks….. Until tonight! I see this in my newsfeed and begin crying! Why? I’m a homeschool mom of 4 kids, ages 15- 1. We are currently trying to sale our home to move closer to our homeschool community & church. ( one hour drive one way) I am so desperately trying to school the children, keep the house in “presentation order” and nurse my mind, body and soul back to health. My husband has just started a new business meaning we are short on funds. This also means that I am raising 4 kids from sun up til sun down …… While he gets this business up and running. My health is suffering. Yesterday, I started my 4th round of antibiotics in a 3 month period. I’m desperate for help. I don’t have a babysitter, Mother’s Day out, or any form of ” break”. This cleaning service would bless my socks off! One less thing I have to worry about……. Thank you for your encouragement to us mamas! You & Sally Clarkson are tremendous mentors to so many! Thank you, sweet Sarah Mae!

Off to pull an all nighter to clean the house. We have an interested buyer coming to look at it first thing in the morning. Prayers are appreciated.
    Christie ( weary, tired mama)

    • RM Peters

      Praying for you sweet mama!

Blinds, dusting and moping are my worst areas!

  • Heather N

The kitchen and paper piles are my biggest struggles!!

  • Lana

All of it – I have 8 children the 4 youngest special needs – I am constantly always working on my todo list.

  • Calah

    Yuck! The laundry and bathrooms

  • Mindy

The bathroom is the place I need the most help with. And probably the dusting… since most surfaces are higher than I can see since I’m a shorty, I don’t usually remember to do it. Or ever remember to do it. Haha!

  • Rhonda Faus

My hardest area to keep clean is my mudroom/laundry room

  • Karissa ‘Walker’ Blackford

Can’t keep up with the clutter! Mail, school papers, stuff to file, etc

I’ve always said even the Proverbs 31 woman has servants! I could use help with the floors!

  • Christine Wright

Floors and dusting! (And actually putting the folded, clean clothes away!)

  • Casey Hilty

I Can’t keep up with laundry or dishes as a mom of 3! As soon as I turn my back there are more piles again!

  • Elizabeth Licitra

The kitchen. I clean it a bazillion times a day.

  • Becky

    Mopping floors. Just.never.gets.done…..

  • Cheryl Sparks

That would be amazing. I always feel better with a clean house!!!

  • Shannon Glenn Hall

I could really use free housekeeping services!! With 5 kiddos it’s hard to keep things tidy!! I especially would love someone to deep clean my bathrooms monthly!!

  • Paula R.

Cleaning the shower basin floor. It seems no matter how much I scrub the basin, I can’t get it super clean. Still working to find that magic product. Thanks for this generous offer Tyndale and Sarah Mae. A housecleaning service would be such a blessing as I am a homeschooling mama and have a full plate.

  • Amy S.

    So awesome!

  • Suzanne

I can’t keep up with dishes or dusting. I never get around to hand washing the stuff that needs it…and I just plain never dust.

  • FunnyMother

the kitchen and the kids rooms/their clothes! They are constantly on the floor!

  • luv2teek

The kitchen–table and counter clutter and bathrooms.

  • RM Peters

Laundry and upstairs are tough! I can keep the living spaces fairly clean so that people can visit, although deep cleaning rarely, if ever, happens in my home! Oh and I think I’ve cleaned the oven once in five years! I am definitely a type B homemaker! Can’t wait to read this!

  • Arletta

Canadians have messy houses, too. Just sayin’! Sounds like a good book.

  • Joy Price

I have the most trouble with anything that has become overwhelming from a normal dirty status. I can do a load of dishes, but if it has waited to culminate to three loads… eeek! Or I can do a load or two of laundry, but if I need to do 7 loads, heaven help me! Would love to win this giveaway, three little ones at home and one on the way!

  • Heather Day Gilbert

Definitely my bathrooms and my dishes. It’s a never-ending struggle!

  • Bbazmore

I can’t wait to read this book! I really struggle with keeping house and depression.

  • Christine

Bathrooms are the hardest, especially with little boys!

  • Gretchen Betten

Oh my goodness, yes please! My husband would thank you!

  • Alessandra

Laundry! Why is it so hard?

  • Kristen Lila

Definitely the office. It’s. HOT MESS. That and the kitchen. Sink is always full with littles and pump parts lol.

  • Emily

    The kitchen is constant…

  • Amber Elmer

Bathrooms, especially the showers, are the worst for me!

  • Janet Welch

The kitchen and bathrooms are tied :/

  • Megan

Clutter… Especially kid clutter and paper. And I hate mopping!!!

  • Stephanie

My toughest area to keep clean is the kitchen.

  • Naomi

Probably our wood floors. Gorgeous they are, but hard to keep up with. Also, our front room closet.

  • Lydia Sipes

My worst areas are typically my bedroom and bathroom. NO ONE ever sees these rooms, so they often get neglected.

  • Jennifer Wilson Millett

The laundry is difficult. But the bathrooms and the dusting are probably the biggest issues.

  • Carmen N

Can I say all of it?! I’d say our bedroom. I often neglect this room because we’re the only ones that see it.

  • AmandaS

Ugh bathrooms and dusting!!!! I’m not kidding this would be my dream to have a maid service!

  • Rust

The kitchen ….high activity and high traffic.

  • Jacquelin Kooienga

The kitchen and dining room areas! It’s a never ending cooking, eating, cleaning cycle at my house!

  • Denise Rodriquez

EVERYTHING! I have 4 little children at home, my floors and bathrooms get dirty very easily.

  • Kishona

The kitchen! Once you get it cleaned up, it’s time to start prepping the next meal.

  • Nicki Veenstra

New business, five kids, husband (sixth kid)…need I even say it? Whole house! ;0) ♡ Thankfully it’s just a phase, right?!

  • LR Owen

4 kids, 2 dogs, husband that travels…cleaning house gets pushed to the bottom of the list.

  • Lynne B

Paper!!! Here there and everywhere . . .

  • Kimberly Wilkinson

My floors never get mopped and are so gross!! And every surface is covered in a layer of sticky from 3 very messy boys, all under 6!! (Thankful for 1 daughter that’s mostly tidy!) Seriously, how do they manage to stay sticky, literally, ALL the time??!? Haha

  • Kristal Woods

The kitchen and the living room

  • Kandra

I am terrible at cleaning the floors. The bathtub would be right I there with the floors but my husband has been cleaning it for us lately (for which I am so grateful!). Rather than vacuum these days I find myself just picking up the hair balls and dust bunnies by the handful and throwing them in the trash. It’s fast and effective 😉
